Full of adventure

Every holiday day holds new surprises

Adventurers love the thrill of paragliding, families spend unforgettable days on the Alpine Bob or the toboggan run, nature lovers enjoy cross-country skiing. And how would you like to experience Merano 2000?

Climbing
Ladder to the sky

The Heini Holzer via ferrata on Merano 2000 is about one kilometre long, of medium difficulty and fully secured with steel cables. Those with and remaining energy after the 3-4 hour ascent can continue climbing to the peak of the Monte Ivigna. If you don’t have suitable equipment, you can hire equipment on Merano 2000.

Paragliding
From a bird’s eye view

A tandem flight on Merano 2000 offers you 30, 40 or 60 minutes in the air. Highlight: sunrise breakfast at the Rifugio Kuhleiten followed by a flight back down into the valley. Paragliding is possible both in winter and summer, offering you spectacular views of the South Tyrolean mountain world.

Snowboard & Snowpark
Cool in the snow

Of course, snowboarders are also welcome on the slopes of Merano 2000! In the snowpark on the Oswald slope, snowboarders and freestyle skiers will find ideal conditions to showcase their skills. Kickers, rails, tubes and boxes of various levels of difficulty await you, including a chill-out zone with power outlets and Internet.

Tobogganing
Fun for young and old

Our 3,000-metre toboggan run begins at the mountain station of Merano 2000 and winds its way through the forest down to Falzeben. About halfway along lies Chalet Zuegg, so your final ride ends right at the doorstep! If you don’t have your own sled, you can rent one on site.

Cross-country skiing
Gentle winter enjoyment

Our ski chalet in Italy is also ideally located for cross-country skiing. Take this opportunity to immerse yourself in the peaceful winter forest! The cross-country trail of Merano 2000 begins in Falzeben and stretches for 3 km across a snow-covered plateau. This moderately difficult track is suitable for both skating and classic styles. Equipment can be rented directly in Falzeben.

Ski tours
Carve your own trail

The ski touring route starts in Falzeben and leads past the Rifugio Rotwand up to the little church of San Osvaldo. Afterwards, the return trail follows back to Piffing and then continues via piste 1A. You should allow 1.5 to 2 hours for this 6 km stretch. On certain days, ski touring is even possible until 11 pm!

Alpin Bob & Outdoor Kids Camp
Fun for the little ones

The Outdoor Kids Camp, a large educational adventure playground in the nature and the Alpin Bob, Italy’s longest rail toboggan run are open in both summer and winter. Young and grown-up adventurers alike love the adrenaline-filled ride, which conveniently pulls you back up to the starting point at the end.
